Joycelyn and Dennis’ stunning Fall Basilica of Saint Mary wedding is on the blog today! After a covid-postponement and a few extra months of waiting, these two were finally able to celebrate with all their friends and family. Dennis lives in Canada. So, when the border remained closed as their original wedding date approached, it forced them to make the difficult decision to postpone their original wedding plans. It’s safe to say that it was worth the wait!
The day started with a traditional tea ceremony at Joycelyn’s home, followed by a gift exchange. I love that my job allows me the opportunity to photograph and experience different wedding rituals! After the tea ceremony, the wedding party traveled to The Basilica of Saint Mary, where the rest of the ceremony took place.
Joycelyn’s bridesmaids wore stunning light-blush bridesmaids’ dresses, complimented by gorgeous neutral florals with subtle pops of blush to match their dresses. Her vision came to life from the details in the stationary to the floral choices, even the balloon arch they had in the entryway of the reception. Anyway bride planning a wedding with blush-tones as their accent colors should look to this blog post for inspiration!
