Welcome to the world, baby Emma!! Can I just say that this session is an inspiration for all girl newborn photos going forward! I was so excited when Amanda messaged me saying they were expecting! The first time I had met Amanda and her family was at one of my fall mini sessions. I instantly fell in love with her family, and their sweet daughter, Amelia. They traveled all the way from Rochester, MN to have me photograph them and it meant so much to me that they would make the journey with two small kids!
Like every session, I always take lighting into account for everything! Newborn sessions are no different. If my client’s home does not have ideal natural light, or they would like their session taken somewhere else, I recommend a few studio options. Amanda coordinated her family in neutral variations while also mixing textures and patterns, creating a perfect color scheme. It was so fun getting to see Amelia again, and to meet her younger sister, Emma! Emma was such a trooper, and made it through the entire session!
Cozy newborn sessions are the perfect way to document this new season in your family’s life! These are images you will cherish forever, and even get to show your kids one day when they grow up. I love knowing that these photos will be handed down throughout the years!
