Elisabeth and Ethan’s Rose Garden Engagement is on the blog today! I first met Elisabeth and Ethan last fall at one of my mini-session dates. They shared with me that they had recently gotten engaged and were looking for a photographer! Although my mini sessions are only 15-20 minutes long, I already knew by the end of our mini session that we would be a great fit. We were officially booked that same day. I already couldn’t wait to see them again at our real engagement session that next summer.
Elisabeth and Ethan had their engagement session at one of my favorite locations in the metro area: The Lyndal Park Rose Garden. I love this area not only for its beautiful grounds, but there is so much variety at this location. It is also right next to one of Minnesota’s many lakes which is always a plus. The Rose Garden was in peak bloom, which made for some gorgeous images!
Elisabeth and Ethan also knew a past couple I had the honor of photographing their wedding two seasons ago! It is so fun when I get to meet couples who know other couples I have had the privilege of working with. Elisabeth and Ethan will officially tie the knot next summer, almost to the exact date of our engagement session, at a country club in Owatonna. I cannot wait for the big day to arrive and see everything come together. For now, here are a few of my favorites from their Lyndal Park Rose Garden summer engagement session.
