Madison and Jack’s maternity photos in the studio are on the blog today! I had so much fun with these two, and their dog Piper at our session.

I first met Madison about a year ago when we first connected over the love for our dogs! You can imagine my excitement when I found out a few months later that Madison and Jack were expecting a baby girl! The last time Madison and Jack had professional photos taken was a few years earlier on their wedding day, so I knew we had to document this special milestone.

For their studio maternity photos, their dog Piper was the star of the show! She loved to cuddle up and be wherever Madison and Jack were, it was so cute! She is going to be the best big sister.

The most common question I get asked is “What do I wear for our photos?” And I think Madison did a great job at picking out a mix of outfits! Her first outfit was a classic, form-fitting black dress. Her second outfit was a stunning dress from Nothing Fits But, and she was glowing in it! So fitting for a baby girl, too.

If you know me, you know I always encourage my couples to bring personalized props or special heirlooms to their session. Madison and Jack brought a pair of their favorite baby shoes for their little girl and the sonogram. Having props at your session makes the photos unique to you, and are a fun way to incorporate your favorite items!

Congratulations to my good friend Madison and her husband Jack on their pregnancy!! I cannot wait to see Madison become a mom, and I look forward to meeting their sweet baby girl! I know Piper is going to love having someone to play with come spring!
