The Wernberg family’s fall family photos were some of my favorites of this season! I shot Emily’s sister Haley’s Abella wedding last year as well as Haley and Will’s Minnesota fall engagement photos. Needless to say, I’ve been getting to know this family well!

It’s fun getting to watch these boys grow up! I feel like it was just yesterday we were taking their pregnancy announcement photos and Jude’s newborn photos. Each time I get to see them, Owen has gotten taller, and faster. He love’s when his toy dinosaurs pretend to take photos.

For their fall family photos, we met at a location on the east side of the Twin Cities and had the most amazing fall day. The trees were at their peak color, and we were met with a stunning sunset. My favorite type of sessions are ones in tall grassy fields out in nature. These types of locations allow the kids to run around and we work with what they give us. We play games, play hide and seek, and look for animal tracks!

I always know the Wernberg family will have amazing outfits! This year, they did not disappoint. Emily had everyone in various neutrals with minimal patterns, which let the photos focus on them, their surroundings, and their personalities!
