Baby Miles is here, and his winter newborn session is featured on the blog today! This was a very special newborn session for me. One of my best friends, Rachel, and her husband Brett welcomed their sweet baby boy into the world this past November. Their story is unlike most, and we are very excited to have baby Miles here with us!

Miles may have been the best newborn I have photographed in my career thus far. He was awake the entire time but barely made a peep. It’s almost like he knew his mom is a photographer and this is just a part of his future!

My favorite moment from our session was seeing one of my best friends hold her baby and realize we are taking photos of HER son, and she so effortlessly is an amazing mom. I could get emotional thinking about it so I will spare you the tears.

Auntie Brooke loves you baby Miles! Rachel, I am so proud of you. I know this journey has been anything but easy. You continue to amaze me each and every day. I have so much love for this family – and have so many favorites from our winter newborn session!
