Wedding advice from former clients

Today’s blog is all about wedding advice from a former bride! Planning a wedding can be stressful. There are so many small details you didn’t even know to think about. No to mention, the one million questions from different friends, family members, and vendors. I am overwhelmed just listing it all out! Today I wanted to share some advice from a recent Brooke Elisabeth bride in hopes to give you some clarity on all things wedding planning!

Q: What did you spend a lot of time planning that you LOVED on your wedding day?

A: I put a TON of time into all of the details for the overall design and what I envisioned for florals! I had a really talented planner/florist who understood my vision perfectly, which helped SO much! Especially with our florals. I was nervous to spend so much, but splurging there was 100% worth it. Flowers are a game-changer in my opinion, so beautiful!

Q: If you could go back, what would you change?

A: I would probably have a small cake for the two of us! We skipped out on the cake entirely just because I didn’t think it was necessary, but looking back I wish we would have had one! I made cake pops that doubled as place cards for our guests though, which was a hit! One thing I really wish we would have had is a photo booth during the dance portion of the night!! I had even considered having one, but decided against it and ended up totally regretted not having one when I realized how few guests I had iPhone photos with!

Q: If you could go back, what would you want to do the exact same way that you did?

A: Everything! Of course there were small hiccups here and there, but that’s to be expected with any wedding day. Everything worked out, which is all thanks to our amazing vendors!

Q: Anything else you would like to add? Any advice you would like to share for future brides planning their wedding?

A: My best advice is to invest in your vendors! I was very specific with my vendor choices, and every single one was phenomenal. I knew I could absolutely trust all of them with their individual tasks. But even better than that, I knew all of their experience in the wedding industry would allow them all to work TOGETHER to make it the best day ever. Good vendors are everything! I knew I was in the best hands, so I never had any reason to stress. 🙂

I'm Brooke.

hello, there!

You will never regret taking the time to find the perfect photographer to capture all the details of your family in a way that feels like a true representation of who you are. Photos are, after all, the only thing you have to remember your moments by. As for me, I’m a believer that moments big and small are worth photographing, from your maternity moments and baby’s first year to those just-because moments.

captured with LOVE.
