The Essence Event Center Wedding | Jonna + AJ

Jonna and AJ’s Essence Event Center Wedding last summer was a stunning day! I was so looking forward to photographing at this new Minneapolis wedding venue, and getting to work with Availed weddings and events for this special day!

For the first look, we decided to have them in the back of the venue in the courtyard where the ceremony would take place just a few hours later. From there, we traveled to Como Park, one of my favorite areas for portraits in the East metro, for all of the portraits! These are some of my favorite portraits from the entire year. Jonna and AJ’s bridal party members were troopers in the heat and full sun.

One of my favorite things from their day was how they showcased their dog, Kona, throughout the day!
