Ellie’s summer urban senior pictures are on the blog today and I am so excited to be showing these off! Mine and Ellie’s family have been long-time neighbors for years. I consider my childhood neighbors like family, seriously. I have known Ellie ever since I was seven, so the thought of her about to start her senior year makes me so excited and emotional!! Where does the time go?
Ellie is on the volleyball team for Champlin Park and is heading into her senior season of volleyball with her team. I loved that Ellie decided to incorporate volleyball into her senior session by bringing a ball, and her jersey. How fun is it to take a few senior photos at your high school to have as memories down the road? From there, we ventured down to one of my all-time favorite locations, Mill City Ruins Park. If you’ve been following this blog for some time, you know this is a frequent, but favorite spot of mine for portraits. This location is perfect for those seeking urban with a mix of nature. Everything is in one spot here!
During Ellie’s session, we caught such a pretty sunset and had the prettiest light to end the session in one of her favorite outfits. I always encourage my seniors to wear one of their favorite outfits closer to the end of our session as that is when you are going to be more comfortable in front of the camera.
