Today on the blog I am sharing Haley and Will’s summer wedding day at the stunning Abella Weddings & Events venue. They had the best summer weather for their outdoor ceremony and a fun-filled outdoor cocktail hour. As a Minnesotan, you can’t ask for better weather than this!

Abella is one of my favorite venues to photograph. Kenzie, their wedding coordinator is always a joy to work with and I love challenging myself each time I am there to find new photography spots. When you’re in a space as pretty and versatile as Abella Weddings & Events Venue, it is easy and fun!

Haley and Will’s wedding was a day I will never forget. The two had almost identical vows both noting their love for chicken nuggets, how they met, and how they love the same things about one-another. Haley noted during their ceremony how Will gifted her a meaningful heirloom in honor of her grandmother who had passed. Considering I have recently lost my grandpa who was my entire world, this in addition to the little touches Haley incorporated in her wedding dress to honor her grandma, made my entire day.

I had the honor of meeting Haley’s family multiple times before her wedding day so it was so fun already seeing familiar faces! Between Haley’s family session in the fall of 2020, and her nephew’s newborn photos in early 2021, I got to know her family well which is my favorite part of my job.
